What is electrolyzed water? And how you can use it.

With some simple science, water, salt, and vinegar, mixed with electricity creates the powerful and versatile solution simply called, electrolyzed water.

Electrolyzed water is a cleaning and disinfecting agent. It’s more than that though, with uses ranging from wound healing, to disinfectant used in commercial settings including hospitals, restaurants, and schools.

For simplicities sake, it is a healing, deodorizing, disinfecting, and powerful cleaning solution, all wrapped into one.

Is it just vinegar water?

Nope! Once an electrical current has been run through the water, salt, and vinegar solution, the salt and water molecules break apart and come back together to form two new molecules. The result is sodium hydroxide (NaOH), and hypochlorous acid (HOCl).

Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is a common detergent used at different concentrations in products ranging from toothpastes and skin moisturizers to sunscreens.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), is the same substance your immune system produces to fight infections, and is a natural disinfectant & sanitizer that’s as powerful as bleach

Finally vinegar is included to lower the pH (acidity) of the solution to ensure the right concentrations of hypochlorous acid (HOCI) & sodium hydroxide (NaOH) are created.

A multi-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, and deodorizer... as powerful as bleach...WITHOUT toxic chemicals or fumes? It must be too good to be true!

But it is true. The result of this chemistry is, electrolyzed water, a cleaner, disinfectant and deodorizer that’s just as effective as conventional cleaners without the toxic chemicals, residues or fumes. The concentration of sodium hydroxide is tiny at just 0.0000003% – vs conventional cleaning products which have up to 5%.

As powerful as bleach, yet so gentle it is used in eye, wound, and veterinary care and is safe enough to be used in food applications. It’s even FDA approved for produce preservation and for use in organic crop production!

Why isn't it in stores?

A couple reasons.

First, until recently, the technology needed to create electrolyzed water was large and extremely expensive. So it while it has been around for years and used in a number of industries, including hospitals, schools, and restaurants. The cost and size of the equipment made it completely unfeasible to have in the average household.

Secondly, the reason you haven't seen it in stores is because hypochlorous acid (the main component of the solution) dissipates over time. So similar to carbonation for a drink that's left open, it loses efficiency sitting on a store shelf.

These roadblocks have been overcome by a new countertop device, Force Of Nature that makes creating your own electrolyzed water simple, while also being affordable.

We are on a mission to protect our beautiful planet by improving the products we use everyday. With this appliance you can easily convert water, and an activator capsule of salt, water and vinegar, into a powerful multipurpose cleaner, that’s not only as effective as bleach but is also free of harmful chemicals.

You shouldn’t have to trade powerful cleaning for family-friendly ingredients.

Force Of Nature is EPA-approved for fighting Covid-19 and Green Seal certified.
